World Java Responds to Fair Trade Operations  

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – March 23, 2017

World Java, Inc. announced today that they are responding to their coffee supplier operations.  The CEO of World Java responded with the following, “At World Java we are dedicated to treating our employees, customers and the environment with care, respect and attention” said Joe Java Chairman and CEO, World Java Incorporated.   “We strive to advance with the changing times while still maintaining our core values and we are investigating the change to our supplier in our Latin American location to ensure that all our products are approved by the Fair Trade Foundation”.

Stakeholders at World Java have been made aware of the recent purchasing of beans at one of our locations from a supplier, and immediate action is being taken to make sure we continue to operate with integrity.

  • We are working with the local management to end the purchasing of beans from the foreign supplier without impact to the employee’s at this location
  • We are issuing communications on all platforms to make sure our actions are transparent
  • We are sharing our plans to rectify the issue with investors and stakeholders so they can rest-assured we will continue to operate with ethical responsibility we have had since the organization was founded
